Ready, Set, Glow! H20 Glow Nights at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon!

Have you been to Walt Disney World before but have yet to venture in to one of their water parks? The four theme parks at Disney World seem to get all of the attention, but now there’s a fun summertime event happening on Thursday and Saturday nights from now until August 24 at Typhoon Lagoon called H2O Glow Nights! This is a great way to experience one of Disney’s water parks without dedicating a full day to it. 

I attended this event with my daughter on June 1 to experience firsthand what H20 Glow Nights was all about!

This nighttime event runs from 8pm-11pm on party nights, but guests with event tickets can begin entering Typhoon Lagoon at 6pm. When the sun goes down, Typhoon Lagoon transforms into one big party!

Guests at H2O Glow Nights will enjoy a live DJ hosting a dance party on the beach with “Partysaurus Rex” (Rex from the Toy Story franchise! looking on. There’s plenty of dancing and fun games for all ages. Guests get to limbo, toss water balloons, and hula hoop throughout the night!

There are Toy Story meet and greets throughout the par, which is a great way to meet Buzz, Jessie, and Woody with barely a wait time! You might even run into Forky, the newest character from this summer’s new movie, Toy Story 4.

In addition to the party festivities, a huge draw for attending this event is the low crowds and minimal wait times for Typhoon Lagoon’s amazing water slides. You’re also beating the heat by attending this event at night. It’s the perfect way to cool off after a long hot day in the parks! 

H2O Glow Nights has some unique food offerings that are exclusive to the party. Specialty meals, adult beverages, and ice cream treats are some of what you’ll find on the menu. 

Our favorite was the Bathtub Party Sundae! This treat is perfect for sharing and comes in a cute plastic bathtub dish. It’s a delicious combination of vanilla ice cream, confetti cake, whipped cream, sprinkles, and chocolate rubber duckies!

I give H2O Glow Nights two thumbs up and recommend this to anyone vacationing at Walt Disney World this summer. Ask your travel agent about adding H2O Glow Nights tickets to your itinerary today!

Ticket prices for 2019 are $59 + tax for adults and $54 + tax for children ages 3-9 when purchased in advance. Day of pricing is $69 + tax for adults and $64 + tax for children ages 3-9. Children under 3 are free.
