Princess posing in front of Cinderella's carriage! |
My 4-year old daughter and I visited the new Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique
location at Disney Springs on our last trip, and I have one word that describes
it. MAGICAL!
Let’s first start with location.
It is located toward the back of Disney Springs Marketplace near Once Upon a
Toy Store, so give yourself plenty of time once you arrive at Disney Springs to
walk back there. This location just opened in December 2016, so it's no longer stuffed in the back of The World of Disney store!
Upon arrival, we checked in at the front of the boutique with one
of the Fairy Godmothers-in-Training. We confirmed our package selection, and my
daughter selected her hair style. There are several packages to choose from
starting at $59.95, and then a few different hair styles as well.
My daughter
selected the Fairytale Princess style. While we were waiting to be taken back
to get started, another Fairy Godmother-in-Training came up to my daughter and
the magic began. She told my daughter to make a wish and when she did, the
Fairy Godmother in training sprinkled her with lots of Pixie Dust coming from
her magic wand! My daughter thought this was great so she kept getting more and
more Pixie Dust. I was still finding Pixie Dust (glitter) in her hair a couple
of weeks later!
The Fairy Godmother talking to us through the mirror! |
The next part was my daughter’s favorite. We were taken to our dressing
suite for her to get changed into her princess dress, and there we found a
magic mirror. Cinderella’s Fairy Godmother was talking to my daughter, and she
was in pure amazement. Our experience could have ended there, and she would
have been completely happy!
From the dressing suite, we were taken to the main area where the
princess transformations take place. My daughter had two Fairy Godmothers-in-Training:
one who worked on her hair, and one who painted her nails and applied her make
up. They were great, singing to all of the princess songs playing in the
boutique and talking to her the entire time making her feel very special. The
interaction was so great that my extremely tender-headed daughter never even
flinched as her hair was brushed and tugged on. My daughter got to pick out her
eyeshadow color and picked GREEN! This was her first experience with make up,
and she loved it!
Hair and makeup--green eye shadow! |
She got to keep the make up kit, nail polish, comb they used,
and got a Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique sash. All of her goodies were put in a Bibbidi
Bobbidi Boutique cinch backpack.
Tip: Pack some hairspray and the hairstyle will last for days! With a good spray,
we went three days before we took it down!
The final touch--Pixie Dust! |
A Photopass Photographer walked around the entire time to document all
of the little princess transformations. And when the princess makeover is
complete, you get an ADORABLE photoshoot with a beautiful remake of
Cinderella’s carriage. This is in a separate room, and it is beautiful.
The Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique was a magical experience for both my
daughter and me! We will definitely visit the Disney Springs location again!
