Take a step in the doors of Palo on deck 10 of the Disney Wonder, and
you feel as if you are in Italy right in the middle of the ocean. We had a
party of 6 and were seated in our own room; they might have heard we are a loud
bunch!
Our reservation was at 11am, and everything was set and ready-- beautifully set up I might add. For brunch you have the option of both an a la carte buffet and a hot menu. Our server was Roberto, and he was from Italy. Between his accent, knowledge of the true Italian food and culture and the mosaics on the walls, it was a perfect setting.

After we
were seated we were informed that one Bloody Mary, Mimosa, or Champagne was included
in the set price. After the beverages arrived, we were escorted to the buffet
areas. Our server explained each area and made suggestions at each of the five
tables. There were breads, meats, cheese, seafood, vegetables, salads, and, of course
desserts. The options were presented in single servings which tempted you to
try something new!
We loved the scallops, tuna tartar, cheeses and the desserts--especially the pistachio brownie! Our server noticed the unsure look on our faces when he asked us if we’d like anything on the hot menu! Therefore he suggested we order a few items to split just to taste and get a feel of. Then came the veal, Margarita pizza and chicken breast. They were delicious. We had already had our dessert (yes, Mom, we ate dessert before our main course!). We ordered some coffee and just enjoyed the experience with adults. We were very pleased with the experience and felt it was a nice change from Cabanas.
Palo is on all four of the Disney Cruise Ships. It is open for brunch and dinner and can be booked when you complete your online check in or when you arrive on the ship. When dining at Palo, the following additional charges will apply:

If you are on a cruise that is 4 nights or longer, it would be a great option for the night(s) of your repeated restaurant.
You can ask your Wishdrawals Travel Agent to suggest an evening or make
reservations for brunch. Brunch is a wonderful option if you are not going to
shore on a port day or for a day at sea. (Make sure to check because Palo is not open on every port day!) Please tell Roberto we said, “Hello!”
and have a pistachio brownie for me!
