Breakfast at Be Our Guest

Beauty and the Beast is my favorite Disney movie of all time so naturally I love dining at Be our Guest--probably because I fantasize of being twirled around the ballroom in a yellow ballgown with my prince who is a far cry from a beast for the record!

Be Our Guest remains one of the most sought after reservations in the Magic Kingdom. Because of it's popularity they recently added breakfast to the reservations! I generally don't plan big breakfasts because I find mornings to be a valuable (and less crowded) time in the parks to be riding rides, but since we were able to get a reservation before the park opened, I thought we would give it a try.

Let's get it right out in the open first thing....it's expensive. Adult meals are $22 and child meals are $14.  If you are on a dining plan, this is a fantastic value because this is considered a quick service meal! Paying out of pocket, it's a little expensive for counter service!  You can choose from cured meats, breakfast sandwiches, quiche or even a cronut!  The children's menu has french toast, crepes, cereal, oatmeal or eggs.

Since it is a quick service meal you order before you sit down at the self service kiosks, or you can order on the My Disney Experience App ahead of time!  We opted to order ahead of time, so we were able to skip the line and go directly to our table.   As soon as you are seated, a tray of pastries is delivered to your table to share.

Beverages are self serve, and there is a variety of juices, sodas and coffee to choose from.  Your breakfast finds you by the rose that you place on your table, and it arrives in style!

The food was delicious and very filling in spite of the small appearance although we were disappointed in the crepes my daughter ordered.  Skip the crepes and get them in Epcot instead!

Croque Madame
So, my bottom line?  I recommend giving it a try.  If you are on a dining plan, it is a fantastic value and it is a wonderful way to experience this beautiful restaurant if sit down dinner reservations are not available.
