Comparing Stroller Rental Companies at Walt Disney World

Disclaimer:  No one at Wishdrawals Travels works for any stroller company nor do we have any affiliation with any stroller company.  This is purely for information purposes!

I am spoiled. We live in Atlanta, so we are driving distance to Orlando. I am also very stubborn when it comes to packing. If I have it in my mind that something will fit, by golly IT.WILL.FIT. That being said I haven't had to rent a stroller. I have always been able to bring my own from home. I know that this isn't the case for everyone, and you may be needing to rent one while on vacation.

I decided to do the research for you! I looked at only Disney Featured Stroller Providers and compared cost and policy. Here is all the info laid out for you, so you can make the best decision.

Walt Disney World Strollers

Cost:
Single- $15/daily $13/length of stay
Double $31/daily $27/length of stay
Weight limit of 50 pounds for single and 100 pounds for double.
$100 Credit card deposit required.

Pros:

  • Stroller pick up is at the front of each park.
  • If your stroller is lost or stolen, you can get a replacement.
  • No insurance is needed.
  • No reservation needed.
  • No cancellation fee.
Cons

  • These strollers CAN NOT leave the park, which can be inconvenient for park hopping.
  • They are made of hard plastic, which can be uncomfortable.
  • You must turn them in at the end of everyday
  • They do not recline.
  • Not the best option for infants.
My opinion: 1/5 strollers

The only convenience here is that you can pick one up on the fly at the park. This is by far the most expensive option for trips longer than 3 days, but the cheapest if you only need it for 1 or 2 days. (The others have a higher rate for the first day.)

Magic Strollers

Believe it or not, these are different models!
Cost:
Price varies between model and length of rental.
Single- $25 for first day $6.50 each day after
Double- $40 for first day $7.50 each day after
$25 for insurance

50-65 pounds per child weight limit

Cancellation Policy:
If reservation is canceled before 48 hours you will receive a full refund.
If reservation is canceled after 48 hours there is fee of 50% of your total order.
Pros:

  • All styles recline
  • Suitable for Infants.
  • Rain cover included.
  • Will deliver to your resort.
  • Credit card is charged 14 days prior to delivery.
Cons

  • Will not deliver to private residence.
  • Strict drop off and pick up times, which may cause you to pay for extra days.
  • Some assembly required on single stroller.
  • Insurance is more than other companies.
  • Weight limit is lower than other companies.
  • Limited styles available.
My opinion: 3/5

Magic Strollers offers a better style of stroller than Disney World and is by far the cheapest of all the companies I looked in to. The strict drop off and pick up times along with having to do some assembly on a single stroller is the reason I rated it where I did. You know what they say--time is money. Sometimes it's worth it to pay a little more for a little bit of convenience especially when you are on an expensive vacation.

  • Will deliver to resorts as well as private residence.
  • Suitable for infants.
  • Comes with a soft side cooler that is yours to keep.
Cons

My opinion: 4/5 Strollers

Everything here seems great, and honestly I had to search for a con. Orlando Stroller Rentals is a good option.

Kingdom Stroller

  • Will deliver to resorts as well as private residence.
  • Suitable for infants.
  • Special needs strollers available.
  • Coupon for free grocery delivery included with reservation.
Cons

  • Credit card will be charged at time of order.
My opinion: 5/5 Strollers

 Thriftiest Option!

This is where I would rent from if I were renting. Kingdom Strollers are reasonably priced, and include a free grocery delivery coupon with each rental. Also, they have special needs strollers available which spoke to me.

Do you have any experience with any of these strollers? What is your opinion?
