Please be aware that there
are numerous fake pages out there offering chances to win Disney World,
Disneyland and Disney Cruise Line Vacations.
The scams offer vacations too good to be true and no one actually wins anything. The goal of these scammers is to build a
popular Facebook page with as many likes as possible so the page can later be
re-purposed and sold for profit.
Companies purchase these
“popular” pages to make their marketing easier since they now have a page which
can be redesigned completely for their own use with thousands of likes already
linked to it.
Many of these pages can be
identified with a period at the end of the name. For example if you go to Facebook and Type in
Disney Cruise Line you will see an assortment of pages come up. The official Disney Cruise Line page is Disney
Cruise Line with no punctuation. There are at least two pages on that
list named “Disney Cruise Lines.” that
appear legitimate, but are not official Disney pages and are not offering real
chances to win vacations.
If it seems too good to be
true, it probably is! Be sure to like
the true Disney sites for accurate info right from the mouse.
