Last
week we went over holiday attractions to see outside the parks. This
week let's take a look at the special holidays things to do while at
the Magic Kingdom!
A Frozen Holiday Wish features
Anna and Elsa in an all-new show on the Castle Forecourt Stage. With
special appearances by rugged mountain man Kristoff and lovable snowman
Olaf, the show culminates in Queen Elsa using her incredible powers to
present a gift to everyone in the kingdom, transforming Cinderella
Castle into a glimmering ice palace for the holidays. "A Frozen Holiday
Wish" shows every night at 6:15pm. It'll show again later during party
hours on party nights, too.
Attraction Overlays – The
Jingle Cruise overlay consists of decorations in the show scenes of the
Jungle Cruise attraction and a new Christmas-themed spiel from the
skippers who are “homesick” and wanting to celebrate Christmas.
Tomorrowland Indy Speedway has special trees, presents, and lights throughout the track
Monsters Inc Laugh Floor has a special holiday version where the monsters discover what the holidays are!
Space Mountain will feature special lights and sounds for the holidays while Mad Tea Party will have special holiday music and lights!

In the Magic Kingdom, Santa makes
an appearance at the end of Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade
at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. Admission to the party requires a
separate ticket. He can often be found during the day between Town Hall and the Fire Department where the area is transformed into Candy Cane Garden. If
he's not called back to the North Pole, Santa likely will be in the Magic
Kingdom on Dec. 20 to 24.
Special
food additions at Magic Kingdom include the holiday cinnamon roll and
an ornament gingerbread cookie which can both be found at the Main
Street Bakery as well as a peppermint ice cream sundae available at The
Plaza. Peppermint soft serve is available at Storybook Treats. Try the
chocolate Yule Log at Main Street Bakery and the Christmas cookie
milkshake at Auntie Gravity's.
Don't miss meeting some of your favorite characters dressed in their holiday finery! And of course, festive decorations on Main Street and a huge Christmas tree add to the holiday feel!
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is
a separately ticketed event held after hours on select nights in
November and December! During the party, you can enjoy most of the
rides, meet characters, see Santa, watch the holiday parade, and the
beautiful Christmas fireworks! The parade, Mickey's Once Upon a
Christmastime parade, is so much fun with our favorite Disney characters
and some special Christmas additions. Don't miss the Holiday Wishes
fireworks! TIP: The parties are only held until December 22. If
you visit after December 22, the party parade can be seen nightly inside
the park during normal park hours!
