Siblings Connor and Madison already have extensive Disney World and Disneyland experience and both are under age 8! Connor is 7-years old, in the first grade, and had his first
trip to Disney World at 12 months old – it’s where he took his first
steps! Connor has been to Disney World
more times than we can count, has been to Disneyland 4 times, and on one Disney
Cruise (with another planned summer 2019!)
Madison is 4-years old, and attends Pre-School. Her first trip to Disney World was at
7-months old, and to Disneyland at 12 months old. She started walking across the coast from her
big brother, at Disneyland! Madison has been to Disney World 6 times, to
Disneyland 4 times, and on one Disney Cruise!
Connor, Age7
At Disney World, these are my favorite rides!
1. Expedition Everest
Why do you like it, Connor? (After much thought.) I like that it goes
backwards. And because it’s rumbly.
What's the best part of Test Track? You can kind of, like,
design a car. And then you get to race
it!
What's so special about Soarin'? You get to hang-glide. It’s actually a machine.
4. Flight of Passage
Why did you choose this one? It feels like you actually
get to ride a banshee. And you get 3D glasses.
One of Mom’s favorite memories of Connor at Disney (besides
his first steps!) was a late night in the Magic Kingdom with him when he was
3-years old. He had been asking all day
to ride Seven Dwarfs Mine Train “in the dark”, and for some reason, we hadn’t yet
managed to make it happen. It was almost
park closing, and we were near the exit, heading out, when he asked one more
time! It’s Disney after all - so we
turned around, trounced through Main Street, USA, against the hordes of people
leaving, and managed to hop on Mine Train right at park closing! Piggy-backing my 3-year in the August heat
was rough, but that smile when we were on the roller-coaster in the dark –
magical!
Little sister, Madison, age 4, chose her favorite Walt Disney World rides! Her first trip to Disney World was at
7-months old, and to Disneyland at 12 months old. She started walking across the coast from her
big brother, at Disneyland! Madison has been to Disney World 6 times, to
Disneyland 4 times, and on a Disney Cruise!
1. The Ariel Ride (Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid) &
Meeting Ariel:
Why did you choose this ride and meet and greet? Bcause I like the Ursula part. And she’s pretty with her red hair!
2. Meeting Mickey:
Why do you like meeting Mickey? Because. Because. Because.
I like to smooch him.
3. Star Tours:
What's the best part of Star Tours? Wearing 3D Glasses
4. PeopleMover (Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover):
What's the best thing about the People Mover? We go up top and it
has good views of Magic Kingdom.
One of Mom’s favorite memories of Madison at Disney is
during a character meal at Trattoria al Forno, at the Boardwalk in Disney
World. We had booked a special breakfast
with Ariel, Prince Eric, Rapunzel, and Flynn Ryder. Madison was 2-years old, and couldn’t stop
talking before-hand, about how she was going to show Ariel her hair – probably
thinking about how Ariel brush’s her hair with her dinglehopper. Ariel made her way to our table, but Madison
totally forgot to tell Ariel about how she can comb her own hair! After Ariel left, Madison remembered her
important statement, and was devastated that she forgot. Thankfully, we caught back up to Ariel
quickly, and Ariel graciously let Madison tell her all the things she had been
wanting to say, but had forgotten in the moment. Madison’s face was priceless, and her smile
unforgettable. After Madison was done
with her “important” statements – Ariel took her hand and danced with her
through the restaurant. We like to call
that being “pixie-dusted!” – and it’s those special little moments that keep us
going back to Disney!
