Previously in Animation Courtyard
was the Disney Junior Live on Stage show which featured puppets from Mickey Mouse
Clubhouse, Sofia the First, Doc McStuffins, and Jake and the Neverland Pirates.
While this was cute, it was time for an overhaul of this show.
The all new Disney Junior Dance Party features the newer Disney Junior
Characters like Vampirina, Mickey and the Roadster Racers, Doc McStuffins and
Timon from Lion Guard. I love the new show; it's high energy and super fun!
Special tips for viewing this
show…With the old show if you were up front, you couldn’t see the puppets very
well but with this show I would recommend being near the front. You will be
able to see the characters up close, and there is cool interaction during the
songs with the camera where your little one can see themselves on the big
screen.
Also, if you sit in the back, you don’t get as much snow, bubbles or
confetti. If you don’t FastPass this show, I would recommend being among the
first people in the stand-by line to
enter. On our last trip, we had a FastPass but it was later in the day and my
daughter wanted to see the show earlier, so we went in the stand-by line and
were toward the back of the room. She definitely wants to be up front on our
next visit to better experience the show ,so we will likely use a FastPass.
Overall this is a great update to the attraction and worth your time if you have little ones who are into the Disney Junior shows!
