Wishdrawals Agent Kristin's daughter at Epcot. |
Originally called EPCOT, an acronym for Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow, Walt Disney had envisioned creating a city of the future--a place to live where you would experience new technologies and ideas. This idea changed over the years as it turned into a park and is now called Epcot (without all caps) and showcases technology and exploration in its Future World section and pavilions from countries around the world in World Showcase.
Epcot has the fewest rides of any Disney park, but there's no shortage of entertainment and experiences here! Rides with height requirements include Test Track, Soarin' Around the World, and Mission: Space. These three rides require guests to be at least 40". Luckily, there are some things to do nearby if you opt to use Rider Swap for these rides. You can enter the gift shop at Test Track and walk through to the showroom. Here, Chevrolet has cars you can look at, and there are various hands-on exhibits that may entertain little ones. Outside Test Track is Cool Wash--a covered water spray area. This is a great place to cool down on a hot day or find a bench in the shade to wait. Mission: Space is right next door, so these are applicable to it, too. Soarin' Around the World is located in The Land pavilion. While you wait for Rider Swap, you can ride Living with the Land or grab a bite to eat at Sunshine Seasons.

- The Seas with Nemo & Friends
- Turtle Talk with Crush
- Sea Base (aquarium)
- Living with the Land
- Spaceship Earth
- Character Spot
- Pixar Short Film Festival
- Gran Fiesta Tour
- Show: American Adventure
- Any character meets
- Live entertainment in World Showcase
- Illuminations
These are completely fine for baby to experience, but use caution:
- Journey Into Imagination: Mostly very fun and colorful, but one scene does a loud woosh and a smelly skunk smell!
- Frozen Ever After: So cute and must-do if you love Frozen, but there is one small drop and you go down backwards.
- Shows: Reflections of China and Impressions de France movies. No seats so you must stand

There is lots of live entertainment throughout World Showcase--acrobats, drummers, live bands, jugglers, and more. While these are mostly outside, these can be fun for little ones to listen or dance.
What won't babies enjoy at Epcot? Wandering through the shops in World Showcase! This might be something you skip this time around or hope for a stroller nap!
